Bartu is a founder at the Center for Space Governance and invests in frontier technologies across space, AI, robotics, and energy. He has worked in venture capital at Seraphim Space, market intelligence at the Satellite Applications Catapult, and innovation funding at the European Space Agency (ESA). He has also helped to launch the Oxford Space Initiative and co-founded the startup Autoplay AI. Bartu has a Law degree from University College London and an MA in International Affairs from Columbia University, where he was awarded a full scholarship to do research on geopolitics and emerging technologies.
