Janna Radi is an Egyptian environmental health researcher and technical specialist working at the intersection of chemicals, waste, pollution, climate change, and public health. She holds a Master of Health Sciences in Translational Research from the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Translational and Molecular Medicine from the University of Ottawa, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Her work focuses on translating scientific evidence into policy, advocacy, and community-centered action. Janna has contributed to WHO urban and territorial planning tools, environmental health field assessments in Egypt, and global research projects on air pollution, climate vulnerability, health diplomacy, and resilience. She also serves as Chemicals, Waste and Pollution Co-Lead for the Children and Youth Major Group to UNEP, engaging in multilateral environmental processes including UNEA, the Global Plastics Treaty negotiations, and the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Panel on Chemicals, Waste and Pollution.
