Gustavo Adolfo Castillo Cruz is an incoming freshman at Williams College with an extensive background in youth-led climate action and international advocacy. He is the founder of a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting communities affected by extreme weather events and has worked extensively with international organizations on climate-related initiatives. Gustavo currently serves as Deputy Director of Climate Calling, an initiative of Climate Cardinals, where he has collaborated with organizations including Yale Climate Connections, the Environmental Media Association, and ChallengeUS. His research and advocacy have also contributed to the Oxford Climate Society and The Borrowed Earth Project. He additionally serves as a Youth Advisor for Generation Global, an initiative of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.
